Maynooth University psychology department and FENS (Federation of European Neuroscience Societies) are hosting a synaesthesia concert on 16 March for Brain Awareness Week. This event aims to promote the multisensory nature of musical experience and the role of music in brain health.
The programme includes an introduction by Dr. Richard Roche (Maynooth University) with live music from Dr. Svetlana Rudenko (Technological University Dublin) and accompanying visuals from Tim Leydon and Maura McDonnell.
There will also be two short talks focused on the role of music in brain health and synaesthesia from Prof. Fiona Newell (Trinity College Dublin) and Ms. Sophie Lee (University of Limerick).
This a free event open to everyone and will be live-streamed from Maynooth University via Zoom.
