Opportunity
Helium Arts, the national children’s arts and health organisation, is recruiting for the part-time position of Family Liaison, based in their office in Mullingar. This is a new role and will be key to supporting the quality of the child’s engagement and participation within Helium Arts’ Creative Health programme.
The Family Liaison will ensure children’s needs are recognised through dialogue between family, health and social care stakeholders and the creative team, while also ensuring the artists are supported to create inclusive and creative environments.
Creative Health Programme
Helium Arts’ Creative Health Hub model is an exciting new approach to bringing our innovative, multidisciplinary creative projects to many more children and teenagers across Ireland. In each Creative Health Hub location, Helium’s artists deliver a continuous programme of activity connecting between hospitals, community and public settings. The programme supports children and young people to let their creativity shine, and shows the difference creative engagement can make to the wellbeing of children facing the social and emotional challenges of long-term illness.
Deadline for applications
Wednesday 30 June 2021, at 5pm. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to interview.
