Helium Arts, the national children’s arts and health organisation, is seeking a motivated, experienced and highly organised Programme Manager to provide maternity cover.
Helium Arts is an award-winning charity which supports the social and emotional needs of children facing long-term health conditions through arts-based creative projects in hospital, community and public settings.
The role of the Programme Manager is to manage the delivery of Helium Arts’ national Creative Health Hub Programme, while also leading on programme development to deliver on Helium’s strategic goals and to ensure that Helium’s values are embedded in and permeate all activity.
The Programme Manager position requires excellent managerial, leadership, problem solving skills and an ability to strongly advocate for the children supported by Helium. The Programme Manager should have a robust knowledge of children’s participatory and collaborative arts, as well as an understanding of arts and health.
Helium Arts is seeking a maternity leave replacement for an initial period of eight months (with potential to extend to 13 months) starting mid-November 2021. This four day a week position is based in Mullingar (with remote working options) and will report to the CEO. The Programme Manager is a key role and part of Helium Arts’ Senior Management Team.
