Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council Arts Office is looking for artists / facilitators from all artform areas with experience devising and delivering workshops, to potentially work as part of dlr Lexicon Gallery’s Learning Programme and / or Youth Creative Engagement Programme.

Artists / facilitators are especially sought who have experience of creating workshops that are accessible and inclusive for people of all ages who are neurodivergent (this is for both programmes) or people living with dementia (for the Gallery Learning Programme). This call out will cover the period 2023-24 and selected artists will be placed on a panel.

Gallery Learning Programme
The Gallery Learning Programme creates opportunities for visitors to the Municipal Gallery, dlr LexIcon to explore and engage with the artworks on show. Some examples include thematically programmed talks, practical workshops and bespoke projects in collaboration with local community groups. The learning programme aims to offer opportunities for everyone, from beginners through to those with a more in-depth knowledge of the arts. The programme is a mixture of in person and online events.

Youth Creative Engagement Programme
This programme is aimed at working with targeted young people in the Ballyogan area using the arts and/or creative media to develop and respond to their needs. It is funded by the UBU Your Place Your Space Scheme, an initiative of the Department of Children, Equality, Disability, Integration and Youth.
