What’s the Story? is a creative writing and visual arts exhibition at An Táin Arts Centre by residents of twelve care homes in County Louth.
Care home residents worked with Story Facilitator Sarah Guppy to reflect on memories and imagine new stories through a series of creative writing workshops. These stories were then visually interpreted by residents from six different care homes, with the facilitation and support of Visual Artists Rozzi Kennedy and Orlaith Cullinane.
The following care homes took part in the project: Curam Care Home, Dundalk; St Francis’ Care Home, Dundalk; The Sisters of Mercy, Dundalk; Blackrock Abbey; Carlingford Nursing Home St Peters; Trinity Care, Castlebellingham; St Joseph’s Hospital, Ardee; Moorehall Lodge, Ardee; Sunhill Nursing Home, Termonfeckin; Boyne View House, Drogheda; St Mary’s Hospital & Aras Mhuire, Drogheda; Medical Missionaries of Mary (M.M.M.), Drogheda.
What’s the Story? is produced by An Táin Arts Centre and funded through Louth Leader Partnership.
