Through Our Eyes: Artist Martin Beanz Warde, Timmy Casey and family. Supported by the Traveller wellbeing through Creativity initiative 2022.

Proposals are invited from Traveller organisations with experience of working with health/wellbeing and/or creative arts, and/or creative practitioners with experience of, or relevant to, working with Travellers, for the Traveller Wellbeing through Creativity 2023 initiative.

Traveller Wellbeing through Creativity has been developed in partnership with the Creative Ireland Programme, the Department of Health (Healthy Ireland Programme), the HSE, the National Social Inclusion Office and the Arts Council. The purpose of the programme is to support creative projects that will have a positive impact on the health and wellbeing of the Traveller community.

Relevant groups and organisations will deliver innovative projects in 2023 focused on enhancing Traveller wellbeing through the medium of creativity. Grant funding between €30,000 – €50,000 per project will be provided in 2023 under this initiative, up to a total of €200,000 including a new Shared Island grant for one project of up to €50,000.
