Gentle Movement for Relaxation is a free online movement class hosted by Uilinn West Cork Arts Centre for people living with long Covid, chronic fatigue syndrome, a debilitating condition or any kind of disability. Soothing the nervous system and relaxing the body though slow guided movements, this movement class can be done at home, on the floor or even in bed.
Classes take place over five weeks on Wednesdays, beginning from 8 March, with Dance Artist Tara Brandel.
Based on release technique which is part of my training as a contemporary dancer, I have found this way of moving very beneficial in my own healing. – Tara Brandel
