We will tell everyone! Learning about the experience of living with dementia through song

We will tell everyone! is a song written by a Public and Patient Involvement (PPI) group who have been collaborating with Lisa Kelly on her PhD research on telehealth music therapy for people living with dementia and their supporters. The song explores the group’s experiences of living with dementia, facilitated by esteemed songwriter Carl Corcoran and Lisa Kelly.

The song will be formally launched on 29 March by Prof Anne McFarlane, Professor of Primary Healthcare Research at the School of Medicine, University of Limerick. We will tell everyone! will be performed live on the day by Carl Corcoran and participants of the PPI group.

The launch includes presentations from the PPI contributors, music therapists, and eminent geriatrician Professor Desmond O’Neill.

This event is a collaboration between the Health Research Institute, University of Limerick, and the Alzheimer Society of Ireland.
