Arts & Disability Ireland will lead an in-person training session on disability equality, tailored for the needs of arts organisations who want to include artists and audiences with disabilities in what they do.
This half-day workshop places disability firmly in the context of equality and rights, and covers topics including ways of thinking about disability, thinking about words, thinking about access, communication and participation.
The session will be approximately two and a half hours, including a tea and coffee break.
This workshop is taking place as part of the Safe to Create programme. If you have any reasonable accommodation requirements, please email: grainne@safetocreate.ie or call 01 6704906.
The training is free to attend for anyone involved in the arts and creative sectors, but registration is required.
