Opportunity
Creative Places Athy is seeking proposals from local, national/international professional artists/creatives or arts organisations/collectives that wish to collaborate artistically with individuals or groups in Athy on creative projects that will create an artistic impact for the people and place of the area.
The award will support the planning, production and presentation of the proposed idea. The proposal should:
- Support and reflect the ethos of arts participation – participatory, collaborative, community and socially engaged arts practices.
- Have a vision to incubate and deliver artistically ambitious and durational projects. Proposals should consider the legacy of the project, particularly that of embedding arts & culture in Athy.
- Identify potential additional funding from other resources to further develop the proposed idea.
Awards of up to €15,000 are available.

Wednesday 28 February, 12pm.
Proposals welcome for projects commencing on or after 1 April 2024 through to 30 September 2024.

Creative Places Athy is an initiative funded by the Arts Council of Ireland and Kildare County Council that aims to support the existing arts and cultural strengths in Athy to support artistic work with individuals, artists/creatives, communities and strengthen existing local, contemporary and traditional arts practices.
