Creative Ireland partners with the Fulbright Commission to support one creative professional to work with a host institution in the U.S. every year.

Professionals with at least seven years’ experience working in the creative, cultural or heritage sector are invited to apply for the Fulbright-Creative Ireland Professional Fellowship 2025-26.

Candidates can select their preferred U.S. host institution and must have the capacity to spend a minimum of three months and maximum of six months in the U.S. Preference will be given to those who do not already have extensive experience in the U.S. Applicants must be an Irish Citizen, or E.U. citizen living in the Republic of Ireland for move than five years.

Applications from creatives, cultural producers, arts managers, and policy makers in the areas that Creative Ireland works in are particularly welcome:

  • Creative Youth – enabling the creative potential of every child
  • Creative Communities – providing opportunities for creative expression
  • Creativity health, and wellbeing – the role of arts and culture in healthcare policy
  • Roadmap for the Digital Creative Industries
  • Creative Climate Action.
