Kerry County Council invites submissions from professional musicians to deliver a programme of performances within care home settings throughout the county.
A series of Care Home Concerts will take place in late 2024 with professional musicians visiting Kerry based care homes and performing a programme which will include a mix of instrumental and vocal music.
What is required
Submissions from musicians must include, in detail, price inclusive of VAT for travel and accommodation expenses, musician fees, management fees, insurance, and any other associated costs.
Submissions should outline the costs of two programmes as follows:
(a) A 10-day programme of performances to 20 care homes and
(b) A 5-day programme to 10 care homes.
Successful applicants will be required to coordinate the schedule of performances by liaising directly with care homes and supply feedback reports following the programme, including feedback from staff and residents of care homes, and images of events.
Deadline for submissions
Submissions by email to arts@kerrycoco.ie before 9 October 2024.
Expressions of interest from Care Homes who would like to avail of these special Care Home Concerts are also welcome, and details will be passed to the successful musicians once identified.
