Kiltipper Woods, National Arts in Nursing Homes Day Awardee 2022
Age & Opportunity’s Bealtaine Festival, in partnership with Nursing Homes Ireland, are inviting applications from care settings for the National Arts in Nursing Homes Day Award.
This initiative offers a unique opportunity to bring together residents, families, care staff, and artists to celebrate creativity in care settings.
Projects may be in-person, online, or blended and must include at least one professional artist. These projects will culminate in a special festival event as part of National Arts in Nursing Homes Day, taking place on Friday, 16 May 2025, during the Bealtaine Festival.
Three awards will be granted:
- One award of €1,000
- Two awards of €500
Care settings interested in applying should submit the required documents to arts@ageandopportunity.ie no later than 12 PM, Wednesday, 26 February 2025.
