Age & Opportunity is seeking tenders for a skilled facilitator to lead the Artists Care Exchange (ACE) programme, supporting professional development for artists working in care settings.
ACE aims to:
- Increase artists’ knowledge of the practicalities and ethics of working with older people in care settings.
- Build stronger connections between artists working in this area.
- Help artists find pathways to paid work in this area.
- Support participating artists by offering mentoring in the area of arts and older people.
The purpose of the facilitator is to work with the Age & Opportunity team to plan, manage, and host seven facilitated ACE sessions and devise mentoring sessions for a group of artists between October and December 2025. Some preparatory work will also be required in June/July.
Fee for contract
The budget for this contract is a maximum of €5,000 to facilitate and prepare the ACE initiative, inclusive of all costs.
