Artists with an arts and health practice are invited to take part in a ‘Sustaining our Practice’ workshop hosted by Cavan Monaghan Arts and Health Forum as part of the EU’s Culture and Health Platform project.

There are options to take part in a one day in-person workshop at Cavan County Museum on 8 July or an online experiential workshop on 9 July.

Sustaining our Practice at Cavan County Museum – 8 July
This immersive day-long workshop, designed specifically for artists working in Arts and Health, will guide you on how ritualistic principles can help create safe spaces, clarify your role as an artist, help manage session beginnings and endings, and foster self-reflection.

Sustaining our Practice online workshop – 9 July
This online experiential workshop will explore how we can enhance our self-care practices and create safe spaces within our arts and health work through the use of ritual.

How to Book
Both workshops are free. Register with Elisha Mc Caffrey, Arts & Health Manager, Cavan Arts Office: emccaffrey@cavancoco.ie

Culture and Health Platform
The Culture and Health Platform project (2024-2028) aims to support European emerging artists who already have some experience working in the arts and health field, and who want to develop their work further and join European cooperation. The project is coordinated by Culture Action Europe and involves 16 partners from across Europe. One of the partners is Cavan County Council Arts Office.
