In 2015, the Void Engage programme at Void in Derry delivered Painting Back, a project that brought award-winning artist Ann Quinn into contact with people from Thackeray Place and Seymour Gardens Nursing Homes and Foyleville Day Care Centre. Over eight weeks, Ann guided participants through the process of creating paintings. Mara Cavalli filmed the sessions and an exhibition of the work was launched at the opening of the new Void space.
Ann Quinn has worked as an arts facilitator for the past 16 years in Dublin, currently at Meath Community Unit.
