Two Suitcases is a short film by Ben Murnane. When Ben was nine years old he was diagnosed with Fanconi anaemia, a rare genetic disease in which the bone marrow stops working properly. Two Suitcases is based on Ben’s memoir, Two in a Million, and focuses on the important role creativity played in Ben’s life during his teenage years. Ben’s film was made by teenagers living with chronic illnesses in collaboration with professional filmmakers and artists, film students, and young volunteers.
